APPOINTMENT August 2010-May 2011

RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct Women’s Chorus; teach music for the elementary teacher; teach aural skills; student teacher supervision; other assignments may be made according to the candidate’s strengths and the needs of the department. The successful candidate will engage in creative activity; assist in the work of the department; serve on departmental, college, and university committees; and represent the department in service to the public.

QUALIFICATIONS Required: doctorate in music, (ABD will be considered); choral conducting skills; evidence of successful public school teaching. Desirable: college teaching experience.

RANK AND SALARY Visiting assistant professor/instructor. One year position. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Detailed information about the department may be found at www.wku.edu/music.
