Chorus/Organization Name: The Naperville Men’s Glee Club seeks a person who can partner with a strong artistically and financially committed Board of Directors and Artistic Director.

Duties and Responsibilities: The Executive Director will manage and assist in the business activities of this vibrant choral organization. Candidates should have a broad understanding of concert management, good organizational skills, the ability to communicate well with potential supporters, and the personality to represent the organization well. Areas of responsibility include grant writing, fundraising, business management, marketing, and performance management. Executive Director reports to the Artistic Director/CEO and works closely with the Board of Directors.
This is a part-time position – weekly time commitments will vary.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Arts Administration, or demonstrated proficiency in marketing, grantwriting, and fundraising. Proven skills as a team leader with ability to work harmoniously with artists, staff, Board of Directors, general public and volunteer organizations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have own office space and equipment (pc, printer, internet). Attend monthly Saturday morning Board Meetings and most Saturday morning weekly rehearsals.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience.

Benefits: N/A. This is an independent contractor position. (No moving assistance.)

Chorus/Organization Description: The Naperville Men’s Glee Club was chartered as a 501(c)(3) corporation in 1988 to promote traditional male choral singing and fellowship at the highest levels. It is modeled after university and college male glee clubs and has performed with many. Its mission is to

They have been honored by performing at Lincoln Center and Washington National Cathedral as well as extensively in the Chicago area.
