This is what makes it so attractive in the same way for amateur choirs as well as for Youth Choirs and choirs of high quality expectations. The fact that all participants live and work for 8 days together on the superb university campus of Mount Scopus, enjoying excellent food and having the local infrastructure for feasting, singing and dancing into the late night, makes it possible, that the participants get into contact with each other very fast. The site of Mount Scopus is breath taking, just opposite and overlooking the Temple Mountain of Old Jerusalem, on the other side overlooking the desert of Judea down to the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. The beautiful new concert hall of the campus, which hosts all the participants every evening, adds to the fact, that at the end all participants seem to leave the festival like a new family, deeply enriched by music and friendship. The Zimriya is a must for every choir once in its life!"
