Title:  "Conductor-in-Residence and Program Development"
 
Starting Date:  July 1, 2010
A two-year contract renewable by mutual consent.
 
Duties:
To be a member of the Conducting Staff and Program Development Division of MidAmerica Productions where concerts are produced in New York's Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall and The International Festival of the Aegean; to conduct concerts and rehearsals in New York and abroad, and develop choral and orchestral concerts.

Requirements:
A serious and distinguished career as a conductor both in the United States and abroad with emphasis in choral music as well as interest in opera and orchestral music.  Master's degree minimum;  DMA or PHD preferred.  National profile essential.
 
Compensation: 
$50-60,000 range; commensurate with background, experience and potential + health benefits, 401K, commissions and bonuses.  Four weeks paid vacation.  Relocation expenses provided.
