An Annotated Bibliography of Music Appropriate For College and University Choirs, by Donald Trott

This monograph is an attempt to provide a broad survey of nineteenth-century choral music suitable for college and university choral ensembles (as was the case with Monograph No. 9). While this is a large listing of choral works, it is by no means intended nor practical to be complete. Composers and choral works were chosen either because they are within the dates 1800 to 1925, or they are Romantic in style, but may not be within the prescribed dates. Information provided for each work (as with Monograph No. 9) will be helpful to the reader in discovering and researching repertoire suitable for the reader‘s work or performance.
