NATIONAL STANDARDS FOR STUDENT CHAPTERS

Successful collegiate ACDA chapters:
1.  Encourage and stimulate student membership in ACDA.  Membership is open to all students - college as well as high school - who are planning a career or active involvement in choral music.
2.  Promote and recognize ACDA student chapters on college campuses.
3.  Sponsor activities and sessions at the local level that directly relate to the training and experience of choral students.
4.  Encourage student attendance and involvement at ACDA conventions through scholarship projects.

Successful state and divisional ACDA student activites include:
1.  Student symposia and workshops.  Students should have the opportunity to hear other choirs and relate to each other in discussing ideas and problems of mutual concern.
2.  Sponsorship of activities and sessions at ACDA conventions that directly relate to the training and experience of choral students.
