Adult chorus, 100+ members. Presents 3-4 concerts as part of its regular season; also collaborates or makes guest appearances with other artists, such as the Rhode Island Philharmonic, Dave Brubeck, the Kronos Quartet, FirstWorks Providence, Newport Baroque Orchestra, and the New Haven Symphony. Hosted one of seven American Masterpieces Choral Festivals sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts in 2007. Established the Wachner Fund for New Music, to support the commission and performance of contemporary choral works. Supports choral education through the Providence Youth Choruses (Junior Providence Singers and Providence Treble Chorus), in partnership with the RI Philharmonic.
