Honor Choirs

**Update** Acceptance and regret emails have been delayed until Friday, November 16th, 2018 before 11:59pm. We will not post lists on this website so please do check your email and encourage your students to do so as well.

Singers (and their parent, if singer is in grades 5-12) who are accepted will be provided with instructions for next steps in the email. It is the responsibility of the singer/parent to complete the remainder of the forms, make travel arrangements and payments, although of course some directors may choose to coordinate travel plans between their singers should multiple singers from a school/area be accepted.

Director-sponsors can best help their accepted singers by making sure their music is prepared as the event gets closer. Music packets will not be mailed out until mid-December and part tracks will be available at that time.

Thank you for your enthusiasm for the 2019 ACDA National Honor Choirs and for preparing your students. The response has been very positive and it will come as no surprise to you and your singers that auditions have been extremely competitive, as you would expect from a national honor choir. We are looking forward to these ensembles coming together in Kansas City!

Singing in an ACDA National Honor Choir is life changing! Through our honor choirs, the finest choral musicians from all over the country will meet in Kansas City to rehearse with a master conductor and perform choral music at the very highest level.

All singers must be sponsored by an active (or retired) ACDA member, who will fill out the online application and upload the audition. (Parents: check with your child's choir director(s) to see if they are ACDA members.)

Singers may choose to audition for one choir from the following:
