For over 50 years, the American Choral Directors Association has been the preeminent association for choral conductors throughout the United States.
ACDA is all about professionals like you! Our members teach choral music in public and private schools - kindergarten through senior high school - and at the college and university levels. They conduct a variety of choral groups, including boychoirs, children's choirs, men's and women's choruses, junior and senior high school choirs, college and university choruses, ethnic choirs, vocal-jazz ensembles, and symphony choruses. They also conduct choirs in their communities and in their places of worship.
If you are a student and do not hold a part-time or full-time choral conducting position, you are invited to join as a Student member. Retired conductors with no paid position can take advantage of the Retired member category. Become an ACDA Associate. ACDA welcomes all lovers of choral singing, be you a student of choral music, a singer, or fan of this vibrant genre. Access the online version of Choral Journal, listen to members only choral music 24/7, and network with other choral afficionados. To learn more about member categories, visit this page.
