Dr. Robert Taylor is the Founding Director of the Taylor Festival Choir (TFC), and Professor Emeritus at the College of Charleston, where he served as Director of Choral Activities. Taylor served as Director of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra Chorus for twenty-five years, with whom he conducted numerous choral/orchestral works, and prepared works for Joe Flummerfelt, Joe Miller, David Stahl, Ken Lam, and many others. Taylor’s ensembles have been featured in numerous festivals and conferences– including multiple ACDA and NCCO national conferences, and the Spoleto USA Festival. His professional choir the TFC has recorded for the Delos, Centaur and MSR labels.
