C. Andrew Blosser, DMA, is an assistant professor of teaching in voice at The Ohio State University and serves as the area coordinator. Blosser is also the director of music at First Community Church, where he conducts the Chancel Choir and co-conducts the Marble Cliff Singers. An active performer, he has presented recitals and master classes throughout the United States, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland. Blosser served as cantor for services at the Berlin Cathedral and as soloist for Mozart’s Missa Longa at the Salzburg Cathedral. He is a frequent featured soloist with orchestras and ensembles including the Lakeside Chautauqua Symphony. A few highlights include Vaughan Williams’ On Wenlock Edge (Carpe Diem String Quartet), Handel’s Messiah (Columbus Symphony Orchestra), and Bach’s St. Matthew Passion (Bach Society of Dayton).
