Aurora

Aurora

Northwestern Michigan College
Traverse City, Michigan

Conductor, Jeffrey Cobb

The Northwestern Michigan College’s Aurora is a treble ensemble composed of college students, recent graduates, and singers from the greater Traverse City community. Our members bring a wide range of choral experience, united by a shared love of music and a commitment to artistic excellence. The ensemble rehearses two evenings per week, fostering not only musical growth but also a close-knit community of support and friendship. Aurora performs regularly throughout the region, appearing in concert venues, community events, and collaborative performances with the Traverse City Philharmonic Orchestra. The ensemble is dedicated to exploring a broad and adventurous repertoire, and we are especially passionate about championing the work of living composers and bringing fresh, meaningful music to Northern Michigan audiences.
