Edward Maclary

Edward Maclary

University of Maryland

Edward Maclary is Professor Emeritus of Music at the University of Maryland. Over two decades under his leadership UMD Choirs toured throughout the world, won top prizes in international competitions, and performed multiple times to universal acclaim with the National Symphony Orchestra and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Maclary has been a guest artist at Westminster Choir College, the Eastman School of Music, Indiana University, Ithaca College, and Peabody Conservatory. He has served as chorus master for dozens of internationally recognized conductors and from 2014 – 2017 was the Director of the Master Class in Conducting at the Oregon Bach Festival.
