Faubion opened its doors in the fall of 1986 in what was the McKinney High School. Our mission is to provide engaging learning experiences so students can become effective communicators, quality contributors, and socially responsible citizens. At Faubion Middle School, we make excellence a habit, and we are kind. The Faubion Choral Department has an average enrollment of 250 singers with four ensembles that rehearse during the school day; Bel Canto (non-varsity treble choir), Bella Voce (varsity treble choir), Cambiata (tenor-bass choir), and Beginning Choir (all sixth grade singers); as well as two speciality ensembles that rehearse before the school day; Synergy (a mixed small ensemble) and Rhapsody (a treble small ensemble). Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where everybody is somebody and is welcomed into our family with open arms.
