Heather Orr is in her 29th year of teaching and 23rd year as the Montgomery HS Head Choir Director. Choirs under Orr’s direction have performed at the TMEA Convention in 2024, 2018, 2010, and 2005, National ACDA Conference in 2021 and 2011, as well as the SWACDA Divisional Conference in 2022 and 2018. Orr has been recognized with the TCDA Choral Excellence Award, UIL Sponsor Excellence Award and Fine Arts Teacher of the Year Award. She is actively sought after as a Presenter on Developing Tone and Vertical Alignment, a Region Clinician, and Adjudicator.
