Jaclyn Kottman Hittner serves the mission of the Lawrence Community Girl Choir program as its artistic director and the teacher-conductor of its ensemble for adolescent treble changing voices. Informed by music education studies at Lawrence University (BM) and Boston University (MM), and having spent over a decade working with middle-level singers in public school and community choir settings, her research and advocacy focus on supporting adolescent estrogen-affected singers and pedagogical practices that empower them to healthily navigate this transformative period with confidence in their singing and themselves.
