Kelsie Quintana is a graduate of Sam Houston State University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education in 2018, and her Masters of Music in Choral Conducting in 2023. Under her direction, the McCullough Junior High Chamber Choir was selected to perform as an invited choir at the 2024 annual TMEA Convention. Before teaching at McCullough, she was the director at Stewart Elementary where she was named teacher of the year. Choirs under her direction have received consistent sweepstakes at UIL, as well as superior rating, best in class, and distinguished performance awards through various festivals.
