Wenbo Deng is a conductor, tenor, and music educator; a graduate of the Conducting Department at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music; and the founder and artistic director of Spring Music Academy, a leading comprehensive music institution in the San Francisco Bay Area, and its nonprofit arm, the Spring Music Academy Foundation. He served as an instructor in choral education at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and choral director at the Shanghai Theatre Academy and Shanghai Student Performing Arts Troupe. Ensembles under his direction have achieved international success, earning World Champion titles and seven gold medals, including at the World Choir Games, the European Choir Games & Grand Prix of Nations, and the Sing for Gold International Competition.
