Erin Plisco is the Associate Director of Choral Studies at Missouri State University, where she conducts multiple choirs and teaches undergraduate and graduate choral conducting and literature. Choirs under her direction recently performed at both the 2022 ACDA Southwestern Region and Missouri Music Educators Association Conferences.

From 2023 National Conference

This session takes a deeper look into literature for SSAA choirs that empowers singers and ensembles in different ways. Participants will explore four diverse pieces of music in depth, gaining insight into composer intent, rehearsal strategy, performance practice, and cultural understanding.
