University of Nebraska at Kearney

Dr. John Martin Petzet is Associate Professor and Director of Choirs at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. He has taught Middle School, High School, Junior College and University levels. He has conducted honor choirs in Louisiana, Colorado and Nebraska and has worked in Mexico with the Universidad Autónoma De Ciudad Juárez and Tlaxcala Canta. His upcoming article, “What My Choral Director Really Taught Me” will be published in Chor Teach. He has presented interest sessions in 15 states and Mexico and has recorded Alexandre Grechaninov’s Passion Week with the Kansas City Chorale which won a Grammy for Best Engineered Classical Album.
