Bio: Dr. Jami Lercher is Assistant Professor of Choral Music Education at Baldwin Wallace University. She conducts the Treble Choir and teaches choral methods, conducting, and vocal techniques. Jami spent 14 years in public schools and believes in the power of music for all. She earned her BM in Music Education at Iowa State and did her master’s degree abroad at the University of Wales. She was recently awarded the DMA in Choral Conducting from the University of Miami, Florida. Jami’s research interests include the works of historically excluded composers, and engaging creativity and critical thinking in the choral rehearsal.
