Joshua Donaldson is the Director of Choral Activities at Emporia State University where he leads three ensembles and teaches classes in conducting, choral methods, and music theory. He is an active choral artist, singing with KC VITAs. He clinics choirs across Kansas and most recently was the clinician for the SEKMEA District Honor Choir. His research focuses on creating inclusive choral classrooms as well as emphasizing women composers and LGBTQIA+ composers. He holds a B.M.E, M.M. in Choral Conducting, and M.M. in Vocal Performance from Pittsburg State University, and a D.M.A. in Choral Conducting from the University of Kansas.
