C. Paul Heins

Gay Men's Chorus of Washington, DC

Bio: C. Paul Heins is associate conductor of the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, DC, and director of GMCW’s GenOUT Youth Chorus. GenOUT has performed at the Kennedy Center, Library of Congress, National Cathedral, and the White House, as well as schools, faith communities, and public events throughout metro DC. Dr. Heins has degrees from Bowling Green State University (B.Mus.) and University of Maryland (M.Mus., D.M.A.). He is a frequent pianist, flutist, and conductor in the DC area, and has presented at ACDA and Chorus America events. Dr. Heins is co-chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee of ACDA's Maryland-DC chapter.
