Charlotte Kroeker

Charlotte Kroeker

Church Music Institute

Charlotte Y. Kroeker (she/her). Author, Professor (University & Seminary), Pianist, Organist/church musician. Executive Director, Church Music Institute, Dallas, TX. Ordained Presbyterian (PCUSA) elder, with additional experience in Episcopal, Lutheran, Methodist, Catholic, DOC, Mennonite traditions. Dr. Kroeker came to Dallas from the University of Notre Dame where she held a faculty research position in church music. She is the author of The Sounds of Our Offerings: Achieving Excellence in Church Music, is editor of Music in Christian Worship, and has published numerous articles on church music. She is a frequent lecturer on topics related to church music.
