Jeff Vanderlee

Jeff Vanderlee

University of Arizona

Bio: Dr. Jeff Vanderlee is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Choral Department at the University of Arizona. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting from Westminster Choir College, and graduated with a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Conducting from the University of Arizona in December of 2020. His doctoral research was a rhetorical analysis of motets of Johann Christoph Bach (1642-1703), and he has had a long-lasting, special connection with and affinity for early music since his time spent at the University of Texas.
