Paul D. Head is director of choral studies at the University of Delaware and founder of the Delaware Choral Scholars. He has conducted honor choirs and clinics across Europe, Asia, and twenty-nine U.S. states; and regularly adjudicates international festivals and competitions, including those in Europe, Asia, South Africa, and Argentina. Ensembles under his direction have earned top honors in Spain, Hungary, Germany, and Wales, as well as the Grand Prix at the Estonia International Choral Competition and the #1 ranking at the 2024 World Choir Games. He is a published author and editor with GIA and Oxford University Press and has led numerous international choral projects since beginning his career in 1987.
