Traces of Blue is the advanced women’s choir and pop a cappella ensemble from Sumrall High School in Sumrall, Mississippi. Known for expressive performances and strong musicianship, the group has performed across the United States and consistently earns superior ratings, Best in Class, and Grand Champion honors. Since entering the International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA) in 2023, Traces of Blue has become a leading ensemble in the southern region. They won a Southern quarterfinal and placed second at semifinals in their debut season. In 2024 they placed second at quarterfinals, won the Southern semifinal, and advanced to finals in New York City. They returned to semifinals in 2025 and 2026, earning second place both years. Traces of Blue is committed to using music to serve others, inspire younger singers, and positively impact their community.
