Phillip Robb is the full-time choral director at Gilroy High School where he began in 1984.  Phil also directs the Gavilan College Concert Choir, a community choir of 50-60 singers, and the choirs at Advent Lutheran Church in Morgan Hill, California. Mr Robb. graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California in 1974 and received his teaching credential from San Jose State University in San Jose, California. In 1997, Phillip Robb was recognized for his outstanding contributions to arts education by the California Alliance for Arts Education.  He has guest conducted numerous honor choirs throughout California and Nevada.  He was honored by the CMEA Bay Section as  “Outstanding Choral Educator, January 2009.
