Gregory Ristow

Bio: Gregory Ristow is Acting Artistic Director of the Cleveland Chamber Choir, and associate professor of conducting and Director of Vocal Ensembles at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Prior to joining the Oberlin faculty, he held similar roles at the DePauw University School of Music, the Rochester Institute of Technology and Lone Star College–Montgomery. For sixteen years, he served on the faculty of the Interlochen Arts Camp, where he conducted the Interlochen Singers and World Youth Honor Choir and taught Dalcroze Eurhythmics. He has sung with Quire Cleveland, Cleveland Chamber Choir, Mercury Baroque (Houston) and the Houston Chamber Choir and conducted Encore Vocal Arts (Indianapolis), Blue Water Chamber Orchestra (Cleveland), the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, Voices (Rochester, NY) and the Foundation for Modern Music (Houston). He holds degrees from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and the Eastman School of Music.
