John Warren

John Warren

Syracuse University

Bio: John Warren is Director of Choral Activities at Syracuse University, where he conducts choirs, and teaches conducting, choral literature, and rehearsal techniques. His Syracuse choirs have performed at ACDA and NCCO conferences and competed internationally, winning the Grand Prix at the Florilegé Vocal de Tours in France in 2015.

Dr. Warren serves ACDA on the International Activities Committee and is NYACDA Vice President. Dr. Warren has lectured, adjudicated and conducted festival choirs throughout the Eastern United States, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cuba, and France, and has published research in the Choral Journal and the International Choral Bulletin.
