
For the busy college or university conductor, we’re happy to introduce the Lunch Break Video Series. Our unique videos provide content specific to the college and university conductor and is bite-sized, able to be consumed in one sitting!

How to Submit a Lunch Break Video
You can submit a video and pertinent information by completing our submission form.
Submission requirements:
For an example, and to hear more about the series, view the sample video above.
- Less than five minutes, series are welcome (part 1, part 2, etc…).
- Address a need of College & University conductors/educators.
- Have clear audio and video.
- By submitting, creators attest they have permission to publish both audio and video content, including any copyrighted material.
- Creators attest any individual in the video has agreed to be recorded and published.

Content Suggestions:
Videos should not promote a product or be designed to benefit you financially. For example, your video, or content in the Lunch Card, should not refer to a website where viewers can purchase a publication or subscription.
Begin with:
Welcome – “Hello ACDA members, my name is XXX, and I am (my job). I want to welcome you to this lunch break.
Content:
What would be useful to College/University conductors?
- Repertoire
- Conducting Gesture
- Rehearsal Techniques
- Community/Culture Building
- Resources
- Curriculum
- Vocal Pedagogy
- Warm-ups
- Other ideas?
What can you provide that will be useful to these conductors tomorrow or in the near future? Try to include:
- Why is this important?
- What is it?
- How can I use it?
End with a call to action.
- “Try this at your next rehearsal…”
- “For more information on composers like this, here’s a helpful website.” Include the follow-up information on the submission form.
- “Reach out to a local business or organization in your area to see if they will partner with you for your next concert….”
Feel free to have various forms of content in one video:
- You facing the camera
- Your choir uses a technique you introduce (you will attest to having permission to do so).
- Short audio of a piece
- We can stitch together the video if you provide the content and specific time markers of what to include
