Refer a Colleague Program

Refer someone who subsequently joins ACDA and we will thank you both!

Here’s how it works:

  1. A current ACDA member identifies colleagues or students who would make good ACDA members.
  2. The member invites them to join ACDA. We encourage use of a special membership form to do so. The referring member writes their name and ACDA membership number on the form, as well as adding in a personal encouragement. Just something like “I hope you’ll consider this,” or “Call me if you’d like to talk about membership” goes a long way.
  3. The referred colleague decides whether to take the next step. If they decide to join, they can use the printed membership form, or join online and notify the national office about the referral via an email to .
  4. Success? We thank both parties! If someone joins ACDA as a new Active, Student, or Associate member and submits the referring member’s name and membership number when they join (use this form), we’ll thank both of them with a playlist of performances from the 2019 ACDA national conference.
